Sterling Lumber's consultation and product recommendation saved this client hundreds of thousands of dollars!

Rockdale-West Middleton Project
After more than five years of public involvement and regulatory review, the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin approved a vital addition to Dane County’s electric transmission system in June, 2009. This project served multiple reliability functions and involved constructing approximately 32 miles of new 345-kilovolt transmission line to connect the existing Rockdale Substation located near the Town of Christiana with the West Middleton Substation. Sterling Lumber provided 1,200 Access Mats that were used for creating Work Platforms and Access Roads. Sterling Lumber teamed up with American Transport Company to make sure that they had the right mat for the job. The custom built 3-Ply Bolted Access Mat worked perfectly for ATC and saved hundreds of thousands of dollars.
